Creating a modern backyard oasis was the goal when we began to renovate this pool area. Multiple levels of outdoor living space were created, and an expansive Pennsylvania blue stone pool patio was laid. A variety of trees, flowers, and succulents were incorporated into the landscape.

The upper terrace is accessible from stone stairways leading to a fire pit with views of the poolscape below and the mountains in the distance. Recycled brick pebbles were used as groundcover, one of many eco-friendly products we work with. We love when clients go green!

A low-voltage landscape lighting system was incorporated into the design, with different zones on automatic timers. The LED bulbs were selected to offer a classic, warm glow in the evening, and the cast bronze fixtures will last for generations.

Blue Stone

Over 3,000 s.f. of PA blue stone we installed in the front walkway and covered patio as well as throughout the entire pool deck surface.

Over 100 feet of slope was reclaimed as flat, usable space with the addition of a natural stone retaining wall.

The entire project came together in a symphony of color, providing rich landscape scenes that fill the entire field of view. The towering trees in the background and the expansive mountain/valley view in the distance provides the perfect backdrop for this mountaintop retreat.

Numerous environmentally friendly landscape features were incorporated into the design, including succulents in high-heat areas, as well as recycled red brick groundcover in select spots.
