For Earthadelic, the month of September has been all about sharing our Volunteer Spirit and supporting our community!
We kicked off the beginning of the month volunteering with our friends over at Second Harvest of East Tennessee! We visit them once a quarter to help in whatever ways we can, organizing, packaging, and sorting through items. We conducted our own in-office food drive where employees were encouraged to drop off donation items to help those in need through Second Harvest. We also campaigned all month long on social media with a virtual food drive where our amazing friends and followers generously donated in honor of Hunger Action month to help Second Harvest provide even more meals! As a team we also supported them by wearing our favorite color orange on each Friday of the month to support their Hunger Action Month Campaign and raise awareness about the fight against hunger. COVID-19 has made it even more difficult for people to get the necessary supplies they need, so it is more important than ever to help out where we can! Since the beginning of Earthadelic we have had the Tennessee Power T stitched onto our company hats! Just another way to showcase that big orange spirit. We love to show support to our community in all aspects, especially our VOLS!
