FEATURED FINISHED PROJECT
Full Home Renovation
This month, we’re thrilled to showcase a stunning full home renovation in Riverbend that beautifully blends mid-century charm with modern elegance. Our team at Earthadelic has completely gutted and transformed a 1960s basement ranch into a spacious, light-filled haven that perfectly captures the essence of contemporary living while preserving the home’s original character.
Kitchen Relocation and Open Concept Living: One of the most significant changes was the relocation of the kitchen, which allowed us to create a more open and flowing layout. We opened up the ceiling, exposing beautiful beams that add warmth and visual interest to the space.
Seamless Garage Integration: Our team expertly concealed the garage, seamlessly integrating it into the home’s overall design for a cohesive look, while creating new, additional living space.
Basement Transformation: The basement underwent a dramatic makeover, with the concrete floor being replaced with stylish tile. This transformation created an inviting atmosphere perfect for relaxation and entertainment.
Main Living Area Enhancements: A highlight of the renovation is the addition of a wet bar off the main living area. This stylish feature enhances the space, making it ideal for entertaining guests or enjoying a quiet evening at home.
Architectural Enhancements: To add character and improve flow, we introduced elegant archways throughout the home. A striking brick accent wall and a sleek stucco fireplace serve as focal points, infusing the space with texture and visual appeal.
Preserving Original Charm: While modernizing the home, we took great care to preserve its original accents and character. The beautiful cut glass windows, a hallmark of mid-century design, were carefully retained, maintaining the home’s historical integrity.
Luxurious Bathroom Upgrades: Each bathroom was redesigned to provide a spa-like experience, featuring modern fixtures and elegant finishes. The master bathroom boasts a spacious layout with a luxurious walk-in shower, creating a serene retreat. Guest bathrooms were tailored for comfort and convenience, incorporating stylish vanities and efficient layouts – including a jack-and-jill bathroom.
Bedrooms Reimagined: The bedrooms received significant attention, maximizing space and natural light while honoring the home’s mid-century roots. The master suite features a striking exposed brick wall that adds warmth and character, serving as a focal point in the room. Additional bedrooms were thoughtfully designed to create inviting spaces suitable for family members or guests, with ample storage solutions seamlessly integrated into the design.

EARTHADELIC IN THE COMMUNITY

This fall, Earthadelic participated in two career fairs at the University of Tennessee, demonstrating our commitment to local students and the community. At the Construction Science Career Fair and the Herbert College of Agriculture Career Fair, we connected with aspiring professionals and showcased diverse career paths in the construction industry. These events are vital to students, allowing them to explore internships and job openings.
We engaged with students across many different majors, promoting connections that could lead to significant career opportunities. Our discussions highlighted potential roles in construction management, environmental sustainability, and horticulture, emphasizing their impact on communities and thoughtful development. The focus remained on the importance of practical experience and how internships can lead to full-time roles post-graduation.
CALL FOR INTERNS

As part of our ongoing commitment to nurturing local talent, Earthadelic is actively seeking interns for our Marketing, Operations, and Administrative departments. These internships are designed to provide students with hands-on experience, mentorship from industry professionals, and a chance to contribute to impactful projects. By investing in local students today, we are building a stronger community for tomorrow.

WHAT’S TRENDING

Lighting
As we embrace the festive spirit of December, it’s important to remember that landscape lighting is not just for the holidays; it plays a vital role in enhancing outdoor spaces year-round. This season, as we gather with loved ones and celebrate, the latest trends in landscape lighting are transforming how we experience our gardens and patios.
Pathway lighting has become increasingly popular, providing safety while creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for evening gatherings. Minimalist designs seamlessly blend with the landscape, ensuring that your outdoor areas remain beautiful and functional. Additionally, color-changing LED lights allow homeowners to customize their ambiance for various occasions, adding a dynamic flair that can be adjusted to suit any mood or celebration.
Smart lighting systems are also on the rise, enabling users to control their outdoor illumination via smartphones or voice commands, enhancing convenience and personalization. As sustainability becomes a priority, eco-friendly options like solar-powered fixtures and energy-efficient LEDs are gaining traction, allowing homeowners to reduce their carbon footprint while enjoying their outdoor spaces.
Finally, interactive lighting solutions—such as motion-activated lights—encourage engagement with the surroundings. By embracing these innovative trends, homeowners can create enchanting retreats that extend the enjoyment of outdoor living well beyond the holiday season. Landscape lighting is truly an investment in beauty, safety, and sustainability that enhances our connection to nature throughout the year.
