FEATURED FINISHED PROJECT
Lakeside Oasis
This month we’re thrilled to showcase a breathtaking backyard transformation that exemplifies our commitment to creating stunning outdoor living spaces.
We are featuring this project because it was headed up by our longtime, dedicated Design Consultant, Paul Dickinson, who is retiring this month.
This project comprises a comprehensive overhaul of a sloping lakeside property, turning it into a multi-tiered paradise. We installed robust boulder walls to create level surfaces, maximizing usable space and enhancing the yard’s functionality.
The centerpiece of this project is a mesmerizing multi-layered water feature that cascades down the yard, adding a soothing ambiance to the landscape.
For improved accessibility, we constructed an exposed aggregate concrete walkway and cart path, snaking from the back patio to a newly created patio by the dock. This thoughtful touch not only provides a visually appealing pathway but also ensures better traction for safety.
The project was rounded out with lush new landscaping, elegant hardscaping elements, and strategic lighting to accentuate the beauty of the space day and night. We also incorporated a dry creek bed for efficient drainage and installed an irrigation system to keep the new plantings thriving.
This project truly showcases Earthadelic’s ability to harmoniously blend form and function, creating an outdoor sanctuary that our clients can enjoy for years to come.

EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT
Paul Dickinson
In this month’s Employee Spotlight, we’re thrilled to celebrate Paul Dickinson, our cherished Design Consultant who has recently hung up his bucket hat for a well-deserved retirement! After a decade of transforming outdoor spaces at Earthadelic, Paul leaves behind a legacy filled with a passion for plants and an unwavering dedication to our team. Married to his wonderful wife Nan for over 40 years, Paul is a proud resident of Fountain City who has spent countless hours collaborating with clients to create stunning landscapes—all while ensuring he never missed happy hour!
Paul’s journey began as a school teacher, where he cultivated his skills in patience and creativity before joining the Earthadelic family. His love for live music and craft beer often led him to share stories and laughter at company events. Despite his occasional struggles with technology—let’s just say he preferred pen and paper over smartphones—Paul’s warmth and charm make him an irreplaceable part of our team.
As he embarks on this exciting new chapter, we want Paul to know that he will always have a home at Earthadelic. Whether it’s catching up over a cold craft beer or reminiscing about the good old days, our doors will always be open for him at company events. Cheers to you, Paul! Your spirit and enthusiasm will continue to inspire us all.
Do you know an outstanding Earthadelic employee who deserves the spotlight? We’d love to hear from you! Send us an email with the employee’s name and why you think they should be nominated.
EARTHADELIC IN THE COMMUNITY

A group from Earthadelic attended the inspiring 2024 Legacy Parks Luncheon at Holson River Farm on October 18th, celebrating the Legacy Parks Foundation’s efforts to enhance local parks and green spaces. As advocates for environmental stewardship, we connected with community members to share our commitment to improving East Tennessee.
The keynote speech was by Erik Weihenmayer, the first blind person to summit Mount Everest. His journey as a blind adventurer inspired attendees with his message of a “No Barriers Mindset,” urging us to view adversity as a growth opportunity. His insights on teamwork and resilience reinforced our vision for sustainable, accessible green spaces.
The luncheon also showcased projects like the Baker Creek Preserve, where Earthadelic has contributed its expertise. We discussed future initiatives aimed at enriching outdoor experiences, emphasizing our commitment to overcoming challenges and promoting outdoor recreation in collaboration with Legacy Parks and other partners.
